As we don't have the ability to sign off approved bike tutors within our own group at the moment, we are grateful that we could utilise the experience and facilities of our sister group over in East Kilbride to get Rob trained up.![]()

Congratulations again!The group have been assisting Edinburgh & Lothian motorcycle members achieve Approved Tutor status. Currently without an Advanced Tutor the E&L group are temporarily unable to train and authorise group tutors and had asked for our assistance.![]()

Today was the final session for E&L member Rob Moore . Unfortunately a second candidate had to withdraw due to work commitments leaving Rob to do the practical day solo under the direction of Advanced Tutors Bryan Johnston and Colin Blackley (pictured) . ![]()

RoSPA Regional Coordinator Allan Mauchline also looked in on the day as part of his regional review of training. ![]()

Rewarded for his effort, Rob performed well and was assessed as having reached the standard required to be appointed an Approved Tutor.![]()

He is now in a position to support the E&L group by tutoring those looking to improve their skills.![]()

One of our member, Mark Robinson is going to be completing a sponsored motorcycle ride around the NC500 in less than one day on the 19th of June.![]()
