RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders – Edinburgh & Lothians group always welcomes potential new tutors to the team.
The structured Approved Tutor training programme ensures the groups high standards are maintained. This consists of a four module programme undertaken with a RoSPA Diploma holder or Advanced Tutor over a number of weeks. Only once all four modules are successfully completed are trainee observers nominated for approval by the Group Committee.
Becoming an approved tutor is very rewarding; allowing you to mentor associates to improve their driving and riding abilities to the required RoSPA test standard, thus improving safety on the roads of Edinburgh & Lothian. It also underpins the knowledge that you have gained not just through previous training but also the experience that we attain day – to – day on our roads. Tutor training development days are also organised to share best practice and improve our standards delivery.
Further training is also available to attain Advanced Tutor or RoSPA Diploma level.
