As a full member of the group, being a committee member gives us an opportunity to have a key part of the decision-making process for all decisions relative to the future of the group.
The committee meets every quarter for about an hour or so prior to the monthly meeting to discuss our current status and to share any news and ideas. Within our constitution we have agreed to rotate the committee over a max of three years, to keep the ideas fresh and to keep further improving the group in the same way that we like to further improve our driving.
There is no admin (unless you happen to be the secretary) and the roles purely require attendance to most of the meetings. All of the committee is lovely and are passionate about making things the best they can be for its membership.
